About The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Wholesale management of major US womens/menswear brands in Australia and New Zealand
- Creating and managing a wholesale growth strategy in line with the brand’s vision
- Ensure sales targets are exceeded each season, by sourcing new accounts and advancing existing relationships
- High profile role managing key accounts (David Jones, Myer, The Iconic) and their respective replenishment programs
- Wholesale Agent management in Australia and New Zealand - set KPIs in line with brand budgets
- Conduct seasonal range presentations to buyers of department stores and key accounts
- Develop a strategic plan to target and successfully open new accounts
- Conduct store visits and organise staff training sessions
- Designing and implementing promotional plans and POS
- Develop sales strategy for exiting ages inventory
- Administration and coordination of sales budgets, stock forecasts and reporting
- Monitor and report on results in relation to sales targets, this includes managing sell through reports from all major stockists. Initiate any in-sell action plans.
- Oversee inventory management across all channels
- Working alongside the E-Commerce and Marketing Manager to set a brand marketing strategy, which is in line with the guidelines set by the distribution brand
- Ensuring the e-commerce sites follow the guidelines set by the brand and are in line with their brand vision
- Developing bi-annual performance reports to present back to the brand
You will be working closely with the company Sales Director and at times autonomously. The role includes effectively managing and selling to wholesale accounts, stock control, managing sales agents, marketing initiatives and general administration and customer service.
You are a strong communicator and problem solver who understands and enjoys sales and growing brands. You are a positive individual with a can-do attitude and are dedicated to efficiency and time management.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with a hunger to learn and develop both professionally and personally
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Wholesale Sales/account management or buying
- Experience with local department stores, with a strong understanding of replenishment management
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and sales planning
- Strong numerical acumen and exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Exceptional demonstrated customer service and networking skills, and ability to build rapport with customers
- Proactive, positive and energetic approach
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must and experience using an ERP (we use cin7 and JOOR) system would be an advantage
