THE ROLE
Are you ready for an exciting career move? We are offering a full-time Legal Secretary/Paralegal position within our Wills and Estates team. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:-
- Diary management.
- Liaising with clients and other parties.
- Managing estate administration files.
- Drafting probate documents liaising with clients and solicitors.
- Completing necessary forms with asset holders and maintaining open communication.
- Organising signing appointments and preparing letters for beneficiaries.
- Generating distribution statements to clients.
- Coordinating asset transfers to beneficiaries and compiling tax information for accountants.
- Generating client invoices and final letters with clients.
- Assisting in drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney, and related legal documents.
This position is not suited for recent graduates or full-time law students, but it presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal secretary or paralegal looking to advance in the Wills and Estates field.
Part-time employment opportunities will also be taken into consideration.
REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estate Administration and Estate Planning Paralegal, or as a Legal Secretary, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and exceptional time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with LEAP Legal software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently.
- Demonstrated track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Salary commensurate with experience.
