Aejis Legal is a well established firm and is located in Brisbane CBD. We are a boutique firm who focuses on providing exceptional service and building long standing relationships with our clients. Due to growth in the firm, we have an exciting position available for a Paralegal to join our team.
About the role
The role is to undertake residential conveyancing files from A to Z on sales and purchases. You must be able to work autonomously on all residential conveyancing files. You will have ongoing support from the Property Solicitors at all times. Conveyancing training is available to the right candidate.
You will also be required to manage files regarding Estates and preparing Probate Applications/Letters of Administration (training provided). Other office duties include answering phone calls and emails, court filing, preparing mail and other general administrative tasks.
Skills and experience
We are seeking a proactive team member who:
- Has an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Is a team player
- Has experience with PEXA, preferred but not essential
- Has impeccable communication skills
- Is confident with communicating with clients and other team members
- Can provide clients with high level and quality professional service
- Has effective time and file management skills
- Has a high attention to detail
- Has the ability to work independently but also to work in a team environment
