We at Chandler Macleod are urgently seeking a WorkCover Compliance Officer who will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to employees who have claims for entitlements under the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (the Act). The Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting processes that ensure claims are processed in a timely and confidential manner and in accordance with State legislation, Workcover and Alcoa’s Self Insurance requirements. Working under the supervision of the Workers Compensation Consultant, this role provides a high level of customer service to employees with Workcover claims, ensuring claims and associated requirements are processed in a timely and confidential manner. There is also a requirement to offer remote support to the Western Australia based workers’ compensation team. Work arrangement/hours: 5 Month contractFull time or 4 days a week (Flexible start and finish times)On-site to start with a slow transition into working from home later on. Key Responsibilities:Ensure the company meets Workcover statutory and reporting requirements.Meet Workcover’s reporting requirements by ensuring electronic claims data is regularly updated via applicable computer systems.Provide reports to WorkSafe and within Alcoa as required, in a timely manner.Support claims processes and all data entry processing in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the Act and self-insurance licence requirements.Ensure employees are informed of the workers’ compensation process and entitlements and are provided with WorkCover information.Process employee reimbursements and all items associated with WorkCover claims in compliance with the Act using applicable computer systems.Ensure electronic and hard copy claim files are regularly updated and maintained in…
