ABOUT Barrow Island
Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Workshop Administratorto work on Barrow Island on a 2:2 FIFO roster to be part of our team and ongoing success. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this varied role provides essential support to our site team on Barrow Island, giving you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of personnel and exposure to administrative systems and procedures to support the Projects.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide a hybrid skillset requirement of an 80:20 split of Workshop Administration and Payroll Data Entry.
• Assist in Workshop Administration which will include tasks such as filling job cards, services sheets and raising requisitions, daily entry of pre-starts and defects tracking, tracking internal Work Orders, periodic data entry for hours and kilometre capture, and providing the Workshop team with general administrative support.
• Roster and flight management of the Workshop Team with support from other Project Administrators.
• Separate to Workshop Administration, this role will include payroll data capture of sitewide craft personnel. No previous experience required.
• Assist with varied tasks including data/time entry and database management, coordination with multiple Projects to ensure timely reporting.
• Support business improvements and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and/ or reliability in processes.
• Build effective relationships at all levels as you collaborate with Project Staff, Finance, HR, Payroll, Workshop and Office Staff, to provide an effective service.

ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role or in a data entry position.
• Exposure to a Workshop environment - Desirable
• Exposure to Chevron/ Barrow Island - Desirable
• Exposure to Payroll processes - Desirable
• Current Drivers Licence, and Construction Industry Induction Card (or willingness to get one).
