$82,610.00 to $87,806.00 per annum
The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Community Services & Facilitation directorate for a WRC Community Project Officer. In this role, you will participate in the restoration and general maintenance programs, as well as the maintenance of fences, cemeteries, playgrounds, sporting fields and showgrounds within the Parks and Gardens Directorate.
Essential
- C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
- Ability to obtain clearance from QCS to enter facilities and supervise offenders.
- Minimum Certificate II in Horticulture.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
Desirable
- Knowledge in the supervision of Parks and Gardens construction and maintenance programs, utilising resources preferably in a Parks and Gardens Government environment or similar.
- Experience in managing large and complex Work Camp Projects.
- Knowledge and experience in all aspects of procurement, contract preparation and assessment
