About the Role

In this you will support and assist members of the local community as well as the Coordinator of the Eagleby Community Support Program. This program provides events, activities and resources to members of the Eagleby community. The position is based at the Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre and forms part of a range of services that are offered from the Centre. You will help the Coordinator develop and implement the events and activities at the Centre as well as provide information, advice and referral options to community members. The role would require some after hours and weekend work from time to time. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Support and assist community members to access information, support and referral options in response to their presenting needs including the delivery of emergency relief assistance
  • Create and facilitate the delivery of projects that support the wellbeing of residents of Eagleby
  • Facilitate and build effective and positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete administration requirements of the role including but not limited to data recording, KPIs, group & activity development and report writing
  • Actively participate and contribute to reporting requirements where required
