Job description
Assists with the development, implementation, promotion and ongoing enhancement of HR management policies, procedures and systems.Assists the People and Culture team with general administrative support and special projects and research on a broad range of Human Resource practices.Coordinates and supports recruitment activities across the Commission in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, relevant legislation and government policy.Provides advice and timely support to managers on contemporary recruitment practices.Reviews completed recruitment processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies.Reports on recruitment data and diversity targets from the MHC Workforce and Diversity Plan.Ensures effective onboarding and induction processes, complying with relevant policies and procedures.Works closely with Supervisors, Managers and Directors to ensure the delivery of quality HR services.Develops and maintains an up to date knowledge and awareness of relevant HR and employee development related issues and trends.Responds to general HR queries from employees and managers.Develops and maintains effective working relationships with relevant staff members and stakeholders (including Health Support Services, Public Sector Commission and the Office of Public Sector Standards Commissioner) to keep abreast with contemporary practices.Provides support to the People and Culture Team.
