Cook’s consists of Thirteen Trade Stores, a Home Builders Division, Commercial Projects Division, dedicated Plumbing Estimator team and four retail Showrooms across NSW and QLD.
We're looking for a motivated and highly skilled Account Manager to be based at our Beresfield branch. The role will see you reporting directly to the General Manager, whilst also working with other senior members of staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being responsible and accountable for all sales for your customer ledger
- Driving new sales through opening of new trade accounts
- Quoting customers and helping manage their various requests
- Regular communication with the General Manager to discuss sales and opportunities
- Involving the Branch Manager in sales opportunity discussions and in store operations to capitalise on these opportunities
- Create and run an organised call cycle with customer ledger
The successful candidate will possess following attributes:
- Attention to detail
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in plumbing merchant industry
- Good communication and excellent time management skills
- High level understanding of Account Management skills including maintenance of new and existing accounts
- Aptitude for teamwork with a willingness to learn
- High level of computer literacy
- Previous experience in similar Account Management role in the plumbing merchant industry is highly regarded. All training in role will be provided internally
