Your next opportunity:
This role is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the strategic sales plan and performance targets for the region. The Account Manager is required to fully understand Boral’s offering and have a deep insight into the local market, build ongoing relationships with clients and understand what our competitors are doing. This role is also responsible for developing and delivering value propositions which secures market share in profitable segments and to help deliver the objectives of the regional strategic plan.
Your day will involve:
- Prepare and submit timely & accurate quotations.
- Identify existing and new orders in target profitable segments
- Manage the allocated customer base to develop close relationships
- Manage the pricing for projects to improve market share
- Sales forecasting
- Involvement in Boral Continuous Improvement Process
- Educate and update relevant managers and employees on the sales pipeline
What are we looking for?
- 2-5 years’ experience as an Account Manager or similar role (Ideally within a similar industry)
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships remotely through active communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively manage competing priorities and forecast pipelines of work
- Strong technical skills with hands-on experience with Salesforce or CRM (highly desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in an industrial, engineering or business discipline (highly desirable)
