Position Overview:
The Account Manager plays a vital role in the company's success by managing and expanding relationships with key clients in the food and beverage manufacturing sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a trusted brand, collaborate with an experienced team, and contribute to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients from R&D Manager to Procurement managers in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Understanding client needs, preferences, and product requirements to provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborating with the internal sales and technical teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Providing exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Staying up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products.
- Attending industry events and trade shows to network and promote company products.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets while maintaining profitability.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Science, Food Science, or Chemistry) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling Food Ingredients into manufacturers is required.
- A proven track record in account management and business development within the food and beverage industry.
- A strong understanding of Food Ingredients, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed.
