The role:
Based in our Sydney office, the job involves work closely with customers to assist them with their formulations by developing new business opportunities and manage customer relationships in order to meet and exceed annual targets and sales plans.
Reporting to the Country Sales Manager your role will involve promoting and selling our range of Consumer Care (Personal Care and Home Care) and Pharma ingredients within Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing and enthusiastic, technically experienced candidate to join a leading and innovative company in the personal care industry. National travel for visiting customers and international travel for attending sales meetings and training.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- BSc in Chemistry or related scientific field
- Strong technical experience within the Consumer Care and Pharma industry preferred but not essential.
- Self-motivation and Enthusiasm
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Establish and closely engage with new product development
- You must be a doer, someone who is organised, well planned and committed to getting things done, who shows initiative and has a plan to execute
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team and have exceptional time management skills
- 2 years sales experience will be highly regarded but not essential
- Full driving license
- Ability to travel when required for business purposes
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residence and valid Passport
