The Client:
Our client is a manufacturer of high-quality timber building supplies used in the residential construction industry. They are market leaders in their industry and are generally regarded as the most innovative and well-run company in their sector.
Anticipating rapid growth in their Victorian operation during the coming years they are expanding their team with the addition of a senior Account Manager to look after some of their largest accounts in the South Eastern Suburbs.
The Role:
You will be based in or commutable to the South Eastern Suburbs, however, you will be required to travel regionally as required in order to meet your customer's requirements. This is an exciting and diverse role focused on relationship management with the tier 2 – 4 residential house builders.
You will be responsible for managing your account base at all levels from site to C-level and business owners. As such you will be comfortable adapting your style from wearing a hard hat and boots to make a site visit to putting on a suit for a head office meeting and presenting to a board.
You will also attend industry events and trade shows in order to cement existing relations as well as build new ones. This is a fantastic opportunity as the business is there and the growth is inevitable. You will have full autonomy to shine brightly in this role and moving forward you will be well placed to progress your career beyond that of a front line sales person.
The Candidate:
Our client is looking for high calibre candidates with a good knowledge of the residential construction sector. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of timber, hardware and/or building supplies but this is not essential.
You will be at the top of your game, professional, immaculately presented and highly dynamic. You will be well regarded within the construction industry and you will find it easy to gain and establish relationships with your client base.
