As an Accountant, you will manage the day-to-day financial direction of the business. This is an opportunity for an individual who seeks to take a challenge head-on and has strong accounting and finance skills coupled with a pragmatic and hands-on approach.

This unique opportunity will see you join an established organisation experiencing growth, where you will be responsible for executing and managing all accounting and finance processes and developing best-practice solutions, which will stand the test of time.

As a valuable part of the team, you will be responsible for offering advice and guidance to key stakeholders, as well as keeping the CFO/Commercial Manager and leadership apprised of the current financial position of the business through;

Reliable and accurate financial reporting with supporting explanations, compliance, risk, and recommendations

• Monitoring of financial controls, practices, and compliance
• Performing all accounting activities AP, AR, Reconciliations
• Leadership reports, budgets, forecasting and ad-hoc reporting.

Experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized business and working knowledge of accounting and bespoke software will be highly regarded. A CA qualification is not mandatory but is desirable.

This role offers a great degree of autonomy, it is expected that you will take ownership of the day-to-day requirements and any projects allocated by the leadership team.
