The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager to help drive the operations of a team of 10 with the help of an assistant manager. You will develop the team further while working with a very organised partner on a large and diverse client base.
- Manage a diverse client portfolio including workflow management and revision of work completed by the team
- Provide advice in the areas of Taxation & Business Services to clients
- Research and advice to Partners and Staff
- Prepare newsletters as required for distribution to clients and/or staff
- Prepare seminars, discussions and possibly presenting internally to staff
- Oversee and manage staff training
- Organise on a regular basis manager meetings and drive relevant topics for discussion, including preparation of agendas, notifications to relevant staff, preparation and distribution of minutes
- Review and constant updating of processes
About You
You will be process-driven, possess excellent client relationship management skills and be knowledgeable in complex financial and tax matters.
- Degree qualified
- CA/CPA qualified
- At least 1-2 years’ experience as a manager in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- High energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments.
- Confidence and ability to effectively demonstrate skills and knowledge
- Team player with a desire to be an active, long-term participant in the growth of the Firm.
- Strong technical and organisational Skills
