About the Role:
MacDon are seeking an Accounts Administration Assistant to join their team located in Derrimut.
The position will involve but not limited to;
- Debtor remittance entry
- Full accounting process of Warranty Claims.
- Invoicing and credits: Wholegoods
- Accounts Receivable payments and follow up of overdue accounts
- Supplier invoice entry
- Processing of shipping shortage credits
- Maintaining debtor card files
- Reception duties will involve vetting calls to ensure they are directed appropriately, mail collection and mail outs.
- General office administration and housekeeping
- Assisting with the reconciliation of the month end process.
- Testing of JIWA updates as required.
- Assisting the Financial Controller & all other departments
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business
- Experience of 3 years plus experience in business accounts/ administration environment.
- Must have a driver's license and car
- A high level of knowledge and experience in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to be an office all-rounder and member of a team
- A strong work ethic
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Well organised and able to work autonomously or repetitive tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
