Saltair is a multi-award-winning builder based in Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast. We are currently experiencing significant growth in new homes and secondary dwellings, and are looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant into our team. We have a range of innovative modular homes and also provide fully customized homes. We are ‘modular that doesn’t look modular' and have developed a niche in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Introducing the Team

We love the small-business mentality, where all core team members are involved in all aspects of the business, but at the same time have significant autonomy in their respective roles.

The Role

• Monitor and action emails into the accounts mailbox
• Entering / processing invoices into the accounting system
• Entry of new suppliers  / subcontractors into accounting system  
• Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of inconsistencies 
• Subcontractor compliance documentation upkeep in accounting system
• Perform Credit card reconciliation and processing 
• Develop more efficient processes and problem solve issues  
• Part time approximately 20 hours per week, 

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate;

• Experience in working in a Construction accounting system would beneficial but not essential 
• Experience in Jonas Premier would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience in working within a construction company would be beneficial but not essential
• Ability to build relationships with subcontractors / suppliers 
• Ability to take on new tasks and roles as the business grows 
• Passionate and self-driven to look for cost efficiencies at all times
