The largest and original business is in cotton & cottonseed, however our portfolio also includes a grains and pulses business covering markets across Australia.About the opportunity Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, the Accounts Officer will help manage the end-to-end supplier and grower payments process; support the offshore Global Business Support Team manage the daily cash position and the employee expense management system; and resolve queries relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management. About youIdeally you will have 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an agricultural, or manufacturing environment. The following skills will see you succeed: A solid understanding of basic accounting as well as accounts payable and receivable principles.Ability to interpret data, identify issues and problem solve. Effective time management skills, ability to prioritise and manage competing demands. Great attention to detail but also a sense of urgency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability liaise with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently but also as part of a team. Experience with SAP is highly regarded. As we are a global company, a lot of our transactional work, including invoice entry, is actioned by our Global Business Support team based in India. You will need to be flexible working within this support structure.
