Oriem is a fast-growing company in the concrete steel reinforcement industry supplying to builders / developers and concreters.
We are looking for a person to join our team and grow with our business in the position of Accounts Officer at our Wetherill Park Office. The successful candidate will be working in the accounts team in the aspects of accounts payable & accounts receivable.
Location: Wetherill Park
- Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily accounts receivable tasks
- Daily accounts payable tasks
- Managing Insurances
- Managing company vehicle registrations / mobile phone contracts, etc
- Daily filing
- Other Ad-hoc tasks required
- Assist with the Financial Controllers office tasks and operations
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Australia, in a similar role
- Solid understanding of key accounting principles and concepts
- Demonstrated track record in effectively contributing to an accounts finance team
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a small team environment and interact with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Strong analytical skills, results-orientated with the aptitude to learn quickly
- Good telephone manner and people skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
- High attention to detail and good administrative skills
- Good time management
- The ability to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.
