Australian Truck & 4WD Rentals (Hertz Trucks) is a franchise operation of Hertz Australia. We have 19 locations in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
About the Role
Hertz Trucks requires a motivated person to join our finance team at our Head Office in Adelaide's western suburbs. The role will be 38 hours per fortnight.
Reporting to the Chief Finance & Administration Officer, this role has a variety of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties including processing of receipts, offsetting and account reconciliations, processing of Accounts Payable invoices and payments and other administration tasks.
The role is responsible for:
- Process Accounts Payable invoices into MFiles and/or accounting system
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly EFT/cheque creditor payments
- Maintain payment records in accounting system.
- Perform monthly creditors reconciliations via maintenance of aged trial balance
- Reconcile and process monthly company credit cards transactions
- Process monthly fuel accounts
- Paying utility accounts (electricity, gas, water bills)
- PPSR Maintenance (Creating and discharging encumbrances for vehicles)
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Ensure filing is kept orderly and is up-to-date
- Print daily reports
- Process BVMs in accounting system
- Reconcile credit card revenue with bank statements and process
- Check scanning of EFTPOS bank receipts, daily totals
- Reconcile cash banked and enter in accounting system
- Offset invoices and receipts
- End of month reconciliation of above accounts
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a high-volume data entry role
- Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously as well as being able to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Sound computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
