An exciting opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Accounts Officer to support our finance team based in Varsity Lakes.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in assisting with a diverse range of financial and administration responsibilities. This role would suit someone with around two years of experience who understands the basics already, who is eager to grow and develop their career with an exciting global business where no two days are the same,
We are looking for someone who picks up processes quickly, generally only needs to be shown something once, loves data entry, is super accurate and is prepared to get in and do the work.
The core components of the role are:
- Accurately process and reconcile accounts payable, receivable and supplier invoices
- Prepare accurate client invoices
- Complete credit card, travel, and fuel card reconciliations
- Complete and submit credit card applications
- Ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation of financial information
- Assist with weekly and monthly reporting
- Assist with financial and administrative duties for other entities as required including Hong Kong and USA
- Process weekly payroll for the site crew (~15 headcount) including wages, allowances, superannuation, expenses and entitlement accruals
- Set up new site crew employees including entering pay rates, banking, super, TFN, allowances and leave
What we need you to bring:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts role.
- Payroll experience is desirable but this can be taught as it is not a large component of the role.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of MYOB (preferred).
- Knowledge of Excel (essential) and Therefore experience (preferred).
- Competency in IT and general computer skills essential.
- A real sense of helpfulness and a positive approach
Based in Varsity Lakes, the salary for this role is $60,000-$65,000+super.
