The Role
We are currently seeking an organsied, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to perform a variety of accounts receivables / payables tasks within the accounts department.
As such the role is a varied one and you will be required to liaise with all staff, from all departments as well as customers. Your main responsibilities will include;
- Manage accounts payables (entering invoices, pulling out aged analysis and paying suppliers on a weekly/monthly basis)
- Reconcile credit card statements and receipts.
- Managing accounts receivables (debt collection, taking credit card payments)
- Updating records accounts receivable/payable records as required.
- Prepare and complete bank deposits.
- Cash and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in cash flow preparations.
- Undertake other administrative tasks – ie banking, mail, filing(archiving),
- Respond to member and external enquiries via phone & email.
- Invoicing customers and helping out when other staff are on leave.
- Assist Financial Controller with budgets and any other ad hoc responsibilities.
The role is expected to evolve over time as you become more familiar with our team we are able to identify areas to further assist the Finance Manager, so a positive can-do attitude is a must.
Training will be provided in our systems, but a good understanding of MS Office and Outlook will be highly beneficial.
