About the role
We have a unique and rewarding opportunity for an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Officer to join our head office team in Preston.
Reporting to our Financial Controller/Group Manager, the successful candidate will be exposed to all business entities, fulfilling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Raising and verifying invoices.
- Emailing of invoices and monthly statements.
- Assigning invoices to projects into XERO and processing batch payments
- Daily banking.
- Data entry and reporting.
- Month end reconciliation of supplier statements and credit card statements.
- Weekly debtor reporting and collection.
- Checking off and reconciling all invoices received.
- Preparing monthly banking uploads for Accounts Payable.
- Assisting the Accountants with reporting and statutory compliance.
- Processing and tracking employee expense claims.
- Customer service and sales support.
- Ad hoc administration tasks as required.
About You
Skills & Attributes
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable role.
- Advanced computer skills including solid knowledge of EXCEL and XERO.
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable mindset
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task and solid time management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build solid working relationships.
