We're on the lookout for a well-rounded Accounts Payable professional. Someone to join our team with experience but also opportunity to grow and develop through career progression. This new team member will be comfortable weaving teamwork and communication with the broader finance team and our broader BWI team members.
How you will contribute:
- Processing incoming invoices including matching purchase orders
- Prepare weekly payments for overseas and local creditors
- Processing employee credit card statements
- Building relationships both internally and with external stakeholders
- Actively follow up on queries and variances
- Completing supplier statement reconciliation
- Contributing to innovation and growth within the team and business
- Support the broader team with adjacent tasks as needed
About you:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable - end to end
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Understand Finance digital platforms
- You understand relevant accounting principles and have MS Office skills.
- You show initiative and take ownership of your work and support broader processes to ensure delivery for stakeholders.
- You have a strong teamwork ethic, logical thinking, attention to detail and enjoy problem solving.
- Pronto and Redmap experience would be advantageous
