OVERVIEW | The key role of the Accounts Payable Officer is to provide assistance to the Finance Team
In this role, the appropriate candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing and importing files, and data entry of manual invoices
- Reconciliation of all suppliers and sundry accounts, and to provide information to members and suppliers as required
- Credit Claims
- Credit Card reconciliation and coding via SAP Concur
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS |
- Importing files and data entry for all Alliance Partners and Sundry Creditors
- Batching and processing of manual invoices and credit notes.
- Suppliers Reconciliations
- Monitor and action accounts emails in a timely manner
- Suppliers enquiries
- Store enquiries
- Credit Claims
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Provide assistance for annual audit for Accounts Payable
- Provide general assistance to team members and shareholders
- Corporate Credit card reconciliations and coding.
- Adhoc tasks as required: Maintenance of petty cash, process Insurance and Commercial quotes and invoicing etc.
- Relief of reception duty and other admin tasks during busy operational period.
- Maintain all filing and records including database systems, lists etc. as directed and especially in relation to member accounts.
- Assist the Finance Team to ensure the timely payment of weekly sundry, insurance, commercial and advertising expenditure
- Collaborate with the Finance team to improve financial accounting processes to enable the delivery of an efficient and streamlined service, documenting changes to processes and procedures.
ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- 1 Year minimum experience in Accounts Payable roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

- Critical thinking and problem‐solving skills
