Accounts Payable Officer

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team with immediate start This role involves inputting data into software programs such as Workbench and MYOB Advanced, maintaining supplier files, reconciling credit card statements, and assisting with payment processing and supplier reconciliations. The ideal candidate will also handle inquiries professionally, support month-end closing activities, and assist with general finance administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Input data into diverse software programs (Workbench and MYOB Advanced)
• Maintaining supplier files/database including setting up new accounts
• Credit card reconciliation ensuring all receipts are saved on our shared file.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Preparation and processing payment runs
• Solving inquiries in a professional and friendly manner via phone and email
• Providing support for end of month close and reporting
• Handling ad hoc accounting tasks and general finance administration

Key Experience and Requirements

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable essential
• Workbench and MYOB experience or similar highly desirable
• A can-do attitude and team player mindset
• High attention to detail, accuracy
• Good communication skills
