Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is a well know Australian owned Construction company, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their close knit high performing finance team on a permanent ongoing basis.
Key responsibilities:

• Ensure all payables are processed accurately and on time
• Process invoices for goods and services received, using the correct cost centre
• Ensure that all credit notes are reviewed, matched to short payments and / or processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure that all aged items are addressed and followed through to resolution
• Systems improvements
• Ensure AP month-end GL accounts are reconciled and all reconciliation items are supported by appropriate comments
• Schedule and process vendor payments

What we are looking for:

• 5 + years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities effectively
• Can do attitude and exceptional communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
