Northparkes will celebrate 30 years of operations in 2024 and is known for innovative technology and committed people. Northparkes uses multiple mining methods including open pit, sub-level caving and was the first mine in Australia to use the block cave mining method. About the role
You will join a team who interacts closely with site operations, maintenance, procurement, projects, HSEQ and Administration for provision of seamless Contractor management activities and actions and enters accurate data to solve problems and make decisions in relation to the day-to-day Accounts Payable Processes.
You'll ensure payables are processed to agreed terms and payments are made only when due, to ensure liabilities are fully recorded and distributed correctly, and maintain the Treasury function, making sure all vendor payments are scheduled correctly to ensure adequate cash flow to pay these expenses when they are due.
Working Monday to Friday on a 9-day fortnight roster, this permanent full-time role
About you
- Accounts payable experience or similar role in a medium sized company
- Experienced in accounting software, SAP experience highly regarded
- Knowledge of contract administration processes and basic report writing skills.
- Current drivers’ license
- Certificate in Business Administration or studying for qualification.
