SalaryMARS Recruitment are partnering with a mid-tier mining company based in West Perth, they're looking to hire an Accounts Payable Officer on a permanent, full time basis.

- Circa $80k plus super (depending on experience)
- Flexible working arrangements; hours and WFH
- MUST have strong end to end AP experience and exposure to large ERP's
- MUST have Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship and currently be located in Australia
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the end to end Accounts Payable function
- Coordinate the weekly payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and follow up any discrepancies
- Processing and entering invoices and credit notes into financial system
- Supports financial closing for assigned operating entities
- Maintains the Accounts Payable system, including records of payments, vendor and supplier details
- Working with the management accounting team to identify potential accruals at each month end
- Answers account payable enquiries from both internal and external parties
- Monitor and action AP inbox
- Provides support with the establishment and continuous improvement of financial controls, policies and processes as directed by the team leader
The Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an end to end Accounts Payable function
- Experience with Excel and ERP systems is essential - Pronto highly desirable
- Must have Mining experience
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Must have Australian permanent residency or citizenship and currently be located in Perth, Western Australia.
