We are currently seeking a Accounts Payable Officer to join the team, based at our Brisbane CBD head office. The Accounts Payable Team works in a fast paced environment and requires a motivated team player with a flexible outlook and approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Accounts Officer, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- High volume of daily data entry of supplier invoices into company system for timely processing
- Supplier & Subcontractor reconciliations
- Ensure appropriate purchase order is matched to relevant documentation
- Reconcile creditor’s invoices against monthly statements
- Processing employee expense reimbursement claims
- Preparing payment runs
- Provide general administrative assistance to the finance team and provide cover to other Accounts Payable team members during times of leave
- Filing and archiving Accounts Payable documentation
- Responding to internal and external Accounts Payable queries to maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
What you will bring:
You will be a personable, well-communicated, and experienced Accounts Payable Officer who possesses excellent customer service skills.
To be considered for this exciting career opportunity you must have:
- Min 2 years high volume experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Advanced knowledge and experience with financial systems
- Excellent communication skills that will allow you to comfortably liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Organisational and planning abilities including excellent time management
