DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Credit Controller, Accounts Payable in Melbourne.
This role is responsible to perform the day to day tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of Accounts Payable transactions to ensure that DSV’s finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Receive and verify invoices and prepare reconciliatons for goods and services.
(Domestic)
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare Supplier/Vendor payments as per policies and procedures.
- File all documents as per policy and procedure.
- Print and distribute financial reports as required.
- Ensure payments are allocated in a timely manner to facilitate bank reconciliation.
- Liaise with staff and suppliers to ensure issues are resolved
- Identify any time consuming bottlenecks and recommend improvement processes.
- Working as part of the Finance team you will be cross trained in other functions and will assist other team members when required
About You:
- Experience in Accounts Payable, reconciling accounts and maintaining general ledgers
- Proficient in Excel, with strong skills in data entry, analysis, and the use of advanced functions
- Good communication skills and a problem solving orientation
