We are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Officerto join our Head Office in Osborne Park, Perth. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and alongside another AP Officer, you will provide accounts support and other finance support to our projects sites and business units.
About the Role:
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to resolve invoice-related inquiries
- Manage monthly vendor reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
- Monitor and respond to Account Payable queries in the AP inbox
- Prepare weekly payment runs
- Ensure all reporting is conducted accurately and in line with deadlines
- Contribute to the improvement of business systems and processes
- Ad hoc duties as required by the AP Manager and Finance Manager
- Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Payable Officer (minimum 3-5 years) from a high-volume environment
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Vista is desirable but not a must).
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and solution focused
