Legra Engineering is a long established Mackay based manufacturing business. Legra design, manufacture and maintain market leading specialist pumping equipment. We supply predominantly to the Australian mining sector as well as exports world wide.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable/Payroll Officer to join our team in our Glenella manufacturing hub. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Experience with MYOB and basic computer knowledge of Office 365 would be highly advantageous, but not essential as comprehensive initial assistance and training will be provided to the successful applicant.

The job includes but is not limited to the following:

• Raising and processing supplier purchase orders and invoices
• End of month reconciliation of Supplier accounts
• Processing Accounts Payable on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Payroll of 50+ employees, including weekly PAYG and monthly Super.
• Directing incoming queries from customers and suppliers to appropriate personnel        
• Covering other duties while staff are on leave.

• This position is initially a Part Time Role, leading to Full Time for the right applicant. 
• Hours are flexible and are to be worked out at the interview.
• Above Award Wages are offered, based on experience.
• You must be willing to work on a deadline and have exceptional organisational and time management skills.
