We are a growing Heavy Vehicle workshop looking for an Accounts payable/Receivable Officer to join our dynamic team. As an outcome-focused Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations, ensuring seamless management of incoming and outgoing finances. Your role will be primarily responsible for maintaining the payable processes and various accounts receivable functions.
This is a flexible role for a proactive self-starter. Your eye for detail and adaptability to change are critical for success in this dynamic role. You are expected to perform the duties and responsibilities with a high
level of accuracy. We encourage you to take control of the role and bring continuous improvement to the way we do things.
- Managing Accounts Payable, including:
- Cross-checking invoices with stock receivables.
- Review, assess, and process vendor invoices and ensure all invoices are duly authorised and ready for payment.
- Reconciliation of vendor statements and General Ledger accounts
- Following up queries
- Managing Accounts Receivable, including:
- Payment collection
- Follow up with clients to receive outstanding payments.
- Payment receipting
- Provide support to other team members through information collation, sharing and efficient recording of customer information/requests; cover other duties when staff is on leave
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of functions and processes within the finance team
- Maintain confidentiality in all situations.
