As we continue to grow and diversify we are seeking an Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our team in the Sydney CBD on a part-time basis (2 days/week).
Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services, you will be working with an experienced, dynamic and friendly team of professionals throughout Australia and New Zealand who live our values and are committed to service excellence.
The Opportunity
You will be a key member of the Corporate Services team and will be responsible for the execution of accounting and payroll functions including; managing all payroll activities, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, assisting with the preparation of projections and financial reports, assisting with the preparation of BAS/PAYG returns as well as general data entry and database management duties.
Our Ideal Candidate:
You will;
- Have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MYOB (or similar accounting package)
- Hold qualifications in bookkeeping/accounting
- Have a working knowledge of taxation, superannuation and all other relevant federal and state legislation
- Have experience with CRM type databases
- Have excellent attention to detail, work ethic and communication skills
- Have the ability to work autonomously and problem solve
- Value being part of a small friendly team where we all know each other
