About the role
We are seeking a recent graduate to join our growing Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Officer based at our Support Office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
Supporting the Accounts Receivable Team, this role will assist with the accurate and efficient processing of store banking, internet and all third-party processes.
Responsibilities will include

• Review of daily banking variances report & prioritizing of variances
• Follow up stores with discrepancies via phone or email
• Ensure the significant variances identified on a daily basis are followed through and resolved
• Ensure all month end tasks are completed accurately as per the timetable
• Assist with weekly activity reporting for LP Team
• Monthly review of any outstanding EFT deposits & sundry deposits
• Ensuring correct register information

About you

• The ability to manage high volume data processing
• Relevant qualifications in Finance and Accounting are advantageous
• Experience working in a retail environment is highly advantageous
• Developed Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Be self-directed with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment
