ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER

Janome Australia is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team at their Head Office in Cheltenham.

Hours for this role are 08:30am – 05:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Recording and processing invoices and credit notes on a timely basis, using Apprise software.
• Accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Resolving customer account disputes.
• Ensuring that overdue accounts are collected, and targets are met.
• Liaising with the Finance Manager regarding debts that would be considered a risk.
• Effective credit control of stock releasing to reduce risk exposure.
• Providing accurate and detailed weekly reports to the management.
• Ensuring customer relationships are maintained at the highest level.
• Updating of price lists and entry of purchase orders.
• Ad hoc administrative duties.

To be successful in this position:

• You must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• You must be punctual and able to prioritise tasks.
• You must have a high attention to detail.
• You must be proficient in MS Office applications.
• You are a team player who can also work independently, and problem solve when needed.
• You must have proven experience in the ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE role.

On the job training will be provided by our current Accounts Receivable Officer.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
