About This Role
This role forms a critical part of the finance team at Geosurv. You will be joining a team of two other skilled professionals one being a finance manager and the other our company accountant.
Your role will focus on ensuring our invoicing, debt collection and all associated tasks with the receivables are at the highest standard.

With this role being part time the office days required are Monday and Tuesday with the third day being flexible or WFH.
What your role will look like…
- Preparation of construction invoicing, including preparation of all supporting documentation such as progress claims, statutory declarations, etc.
- Processing of debtor payments and credit notes
- Maintenance of monthly retention register
- Maintenance of debtor control for tracking overdue debtors used by team leaders in debtor review
- Debt Collection
- Issue debtor statements, reminders, and final notices as required
- Action any incoming queries and requests, such as sending copies of invoices allocating unapplied receipts
- Assist with payroll and reporting if required
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Construction experience or similar industry experience is a requirement and knowledge surrounding Security of Payments Act would be advantageous
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must have extensive skills in Microsoft office suite
- Experience with a debtor finance facility would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
