We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Property Services division. Your role will be crucial in managing Accounts Receivable tailored to our Property Services operations, contributing to the financial framework.
Key accountabilities include:
- Manage the Accounts Receivable process for property services, including invoicing, billing, and collection activities.
- Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients for property-related services.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries related to invoices and payments.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions and communications related to Accounts Receivable.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed.
- Stay abreast of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to Accounts Receivable processes and property services.
- Provide support to other finance team members as needed, including participation in special projects and initiatives.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles, ideally in property services.
- Proficient in accounting software like TechOne and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, managing tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledgeable about accounting principles and regulations.
- Preferably holds a finance, accounting, or related tertiary qualification.
