We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts person/payroll officer to join our team!
Tasks/responsibilities:
- Managing Sales Trust and General Accounts, daily receipting and reconciling.
- Dealing with all client invoicing and accounts inquiries.
- Disbursements of deposit monies.
- Enter and pay invoices.
- Maintaining records to adhere to legislative requirements.
- Answering invoice and payment related enquiries.
- Other ad hoc duties.
- Process and handle all payroll duties (including super, leave, entitlements and work cover).
- Assist with End of Financial Year payroll processing and reporting.
- Work with the accountants to ensure compliance and taxation is up to date
- Quarterly BAS preparation and liaising with Accountant for lodgement
- Preparing financial reports, summaries and analysis for Management Review
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or equivalent)
- Previous bookkeeping/trust accounts experience essential, minimum of 2+ years
- Outstanding attention to detail & time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent financial acumen
- Experience with Xero
- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
