Established in 2017, Kotuku Workwear is your go-to source for uniforms, branded merch and unique promotional items. With a passion for helping businesses elevate their brand image, we specialize in providing customized solutions that make a lasting impression. As a result of current growth and expansion, we now seek to add an Admin Assistant to our team, based at our West Burleigh Office. Our ideal candidate would be available 3-5 days a weeks, from Monday to Friday.
No two days at Kotuku Workwear are the same. As a team member within our small business, you’ll be involved in a little of everything. There's always a variety of tasks to be completed each day, so if you're someone that enjoys mixing it up rather than being stuck behind a desk all day-this is the place for you.
In return for your hard work we offer a negotiable salary, based off both age and experience.
What you’ll do
- Administration tasks: responding to emails, digital & physical filing and booking freight
- Website management: this involves uploading and editing products on our website
- Inventory: managing client stock on-hand, ensuring sample stock is accounted for and organised
- Creating Social Media content for a variety of platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook

- Decoration methods: this will involve learning about the various decoration methods Kotuku Workwear has on offer, including embroidery, screen printing, transfers, patches and sublimation. There is the potential to begin heat-pressing designs on to a variety of garments, and ensuring orders are packed and ready for shipment. In other words, you'll get to make custom T-Shirts, hoodies, hats and more.
- Marketing operations: this will entail learning about our products, and taking on a role where you are able to assist with quoting orders and expanding current clientele via marketing and social media initiatives. You'll learn about running a small business in the process.
- Get a taste of accounting through Xero. You will learn about using Xero to pay bills, send invoices, create quotes, reconcile bank balances and manage inventory.

What you’ll bring
- Current Driver’s license (P1 or P2 is acceptable)
- Experience with WordPress, Illustrator or Xero is advantageous, but not essential
- Experience with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word & Excel) is desirable
- A good work ethic and the ability to multitask
