This is a full time job and you will be required to work mostly out of the Subiaco office. There is however scope for planning your office hours to fit your requirements and the ability to WFH when required. The better you manage your busy work load the more flexibility you can achieve.
A little about the job:
- Administration - Monitoring and updating the database with relevant information, report generation, logging incoming enquiries, filing and upkeep of the Document Management System.
- Customer Service - Communicate clearly with suppliers and vendors for quotes, delivery dates, status updates and general queries.
- Day to day support for the Commercial team such as liasing with manufactures, freight and logistics companies and distributers etc.
- Researching and procuring items for clients from many different sources. This company supplies its clients with everything imaginable (from bolts to washing machines to technical mining parts), so you will need to use your imagination and research skills to find them the best solution for their procurement requirements.
- A purpose built training program and a supportive management structure is in place to ensure you get up to speed as soon as possible.
Do you have:
- Strong computer / MS Office skills and previous Customer Service or administration experience? Some finance or purchasing experience would be ideal but is not a prerequisite
- A high level of professionalisms and integrity? Supplying some of Australia’s biggest companies requires and honest approach, even when things don’t go to plan.
- A positive attitude? The most important requirement for this job is a can do attitude and a methodical and process driven mind set.
- An amazing ability to multi task - with orders constantly flowing in to the business it is important that the successful candidate can manage and prioritise their work load to ensure that the company does not miss sales opportunities.
