The Opportunity:
The Customer Service Officer role is an opportunity for you to work for a non-for-profit aged care services organisation that has dedicated over 60 years to meeting the needs of the community. We provide residential as well as community-based services.
It is an exciting time to join Dale Cottages as we are about to move to a brand-new facility in Armadale. You will contribute toward our current transformation.
This role will report directly to the General Manager Residential Care and will be an integral member of the Admin team.
The job - What you'll be doing:
- Provide Administrative duties in the Residential Care Facility
- General Reception duties including receipting and balancing bank deposits
- Deliver a high standard of Customer Service to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain office/stationery supplies
- Consciously create a workplace and team culture that is aligned with the organisations Mission and Values
About you:
You want to work in an aged care organisation that upholds values the honours the whole person irrespective of age, status, or apparent capacity. That strengthens opportunities for physical and social connection and creatively offers meaningful options wherever possible.
You will have at least 3 years’ experience of working in Aged Care and have a n excellent administration, communication and presentation skills and be able t solve problems and actively seek solutions.
Your responsibility:
- Be proficient in telephone skills – answering and directing enquiries
- Be well presented and demonstrate an empathetic approach to the aged
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to take and write up minutes of meetings
- Work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive
What you need to know about the role:
- This role is covering Maternity leave from May to December 2024.
- Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 4pm
- Working at our Brand-new Facility in Armadale
