We are currently looking for an Administration and Operations Support Officer to join our team in our facility located at Perth Airport. Reporting to the State Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience. Working with the Operations team to liaise with customers, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues. It involves streamlining processes, mitigating risks, booking/time slotting deliveries and optimising customer satisfaction and helping to build long-term partnerships based on reliability and exceptional service.
What your days would look like?
The key responsibilities are assisting the bookings and Operations team with Administration and operational tasks, including but not limited to booking and time slotting deliveries within the transport management system (TMS). Other requirements include:
- Proof Of Delivery processing
- Tracking, processing, and coordinating freight deliveries and pickups
- Ensuring all freight is dispatched on time and communicate solutions for any troubles encountered
- Providing excellent Customer Service by liaising with staff and clients to answer queries via telephone and email
- Updating and following up enquiries promptly
- Ensuring all paperwork is actioned correctly by either data entry, scanning, or filing
- Any other duties required to support the daily activities of transport operations

- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the transport/logistics industry
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience in accurate data entry
- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic

- Able to contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
