The College is seeking applications for a College SportsAdministration Assistant
The role will be a Full-Time, Term-Time, permanent School Officer position (38 hours per week) to commence in Term 2, 15 April 2024 or prior, if negotiated during the appointment process.
Responsibilities include a range of general office duties such as:
- Providing administrative support to the College Leader of Sports
- Performing tasks associated with Sports Reception and client relations
- Assisting with records management, maintenance and data entry
- Assisting students, parents, prospective parents and other community members in all matters to do with a variety of sporting programs
- Maintaining, allocating and distributing sports resources across the College
The successful applicant will possess relevant qualifications in office administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education. Further, the successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Promote sport amongst the student population as a vehicle for well-being
- Confidently operate a variety of generic and internal Information Technology systems, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite
- Organise and complete multiple tasks with close attention to detail, accuracy and prioritisation in order to meet deadlines
- Use initiative, problem solve and manage a workload with competing priorities
- Build effective, collaborative working relationships with varied stakeholders
- Be flexible, remain calm in challenging circumstances and maintain a positive attitude.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to relate professionally with students, parents and staff
- Work with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Exhibit outstanding professional personal presentation
The successful applicant will ideally possess relevant first aid certification or be willing to attain it.
Salary
School Officer Level 3 $1,224.00 to $1,275.90 per week (FTE) plus super.
