The Role
The function of the Administration Assistant is to support and assist the Corporate Receptionist/Admin Officer in all aspects of the office and provide administration support to Perth office staff.
The role is suitable to a contractor with availability of up to 24 hours per week with additional hours on an adhoc basis.
Your supporting role will consist of the following duties:
- Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering the main switchboard and directing calls
- Maintain the kitchen area and ordering kitchen and stationary supplies
- Preparing boardroom for meetings and presentations, including catering when required
- Booking of travel, hotels and restaurants
- Preparing welcome bags and PPE
- Coordinating office storage
- Purchasing of company gifts
- Assisting with the management of company cars
- Assisting the Corporate Receptionist/Administration Officer with admin tasks and providing backup when absent
As a proactive Administration Assistant it is essential that you have a high level of organisational and time management skills and can communicate effectively at all levels.
Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will have:
- An ABN
- Personal insurances
- Experience within a similar role
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
