THE ROLE
The Administration Assistant – Extra-Curricular Programs will provide administrative support and assistance to the Director of Extra-Curricular Programs and key personnel responsible for the organisation and management of the St Aidan’s Extra-Curricular Program. This will involve administrative, organisational and ‘hands on’ support of the extra-curricular program.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide confidential administrative and organisational support to the Director of Extra-Curricular Programs and Extra-Curricular Leadership team, as required.
- Manage the diaries of the Extra-Curricular Leadership team.
- Assist in the preparation of the extra-curricular activities calendar in conjunction with Director of Extra-Curricular Programs.
- Assist with the organisation of award ceremonies and events overseen by the Director of Extra-Curricular Programs.
- Prepare reports, presentations and resources for the Marketing team in relation to extra-curricular activities in consultation with the Director of Extra-Curricular Programs.
- Build good working relationships between the Extra-Curricular Leadership team, staff, parents, students and others in the St Aidan’s Community.
- Co-ordinate the onboarding of new staff in consultation with the People & Culture Team and relevant Extra-Curricular Leadership team members.
- Provide administrative and organisational support to sport, music and activity co-ordinators.
ABOUT YOU
- Highly developed communication and organisational skills together with the ability to work independently with initiative and innovative practice.
- Relevant administration experience including intermediate skills in Microsoft applications required (Excel highly desirable) and the willingness to learn new systems in a timely manner.
- School environment experience (will be valued)
- An ability to hold a Working with Children – Blue Card as issued by the Queensland Government.
- An ability to hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- A willingness to attend and support out of hours events and activities as required
