We are an expanding law firm located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast and we have an exciting opportunity for a law student or motivated individual who is looking to secure a legal office administrative role.
The position would ideally suit an individual looking for a position on a full-time basis, however part-time would be considered for the right applicant.
The Candidate
The successful candidate is required to have:-
- Sound computer skills;
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional presentation;
- A positive attitude;
- High attention to detail;
- Possess a strong work ethic;
- Reliability;
- The desire to provide quality support to our team; and
- A willingness to learn new skills and work well within a team environment.
The Role
Duties of the role will include, but not be limited to:
- Day to day office duties such as e-mailing, filing, scanning and printing;
- File/matter creation including archiving;
- Reception duties when necessary, including greeting clients and answering the telephone including recording accurate messages;
- Overflow during busy times and coverage during annual leave;
- Attending to incoming and outgoing mail;
- Legal clerk duties including banking and running errands;
- Ordering of stationery;
- Assisting with monthly billing and day to day accounting practices; and
- General housekeeping duties including the tidiness of all office areas including kitchen;
The successful candidate should be available to start immediately or within a reasonable period.
