Blue Lion Moving Services is seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as an Administration Assistant.
Located in Dandenong South, Blue Lion Moving Services is a national moving and storage company and is a leader in our industry. As such we are looking for a candidate to fulfill a diverse role within the organisation who can work in a team environment but also has the ability and want to work independently.
This role could suit someone currently in a Junior Administration role who is looking to take their career to the next level. Training will be provided to the right applicant.
Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager duties will include:
• Data Entry of time sheets daily
• Processing weekly payroll for approx. 60-80 staff
• Assisting the entering of creditor invoices and allocating costings to jobs
• Entering and processing Staff Expenses
• Managing Uniform Stock
• Produce reports using Microsoft Excel
• Providing support for setting up new employees
• Reviewing supplier costings and matching rates into computer system
• Providing support for invoicing
• Managing Inductions for staff
• Travel Bookings
• Creating and Managing Training Records for all branches
• Maintain and ensure compliance of WHS systems
• Maintain and ensure compliance of WHS requirements with third party providers
• Develop training and induction programs
• General Administration and Accounts Support
Join our team at our Dandenong South office, where we offer a stable Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This full-time position is office-based, providing a consistent and professional environment for you to thrive in. We value the importance of face-to-face collaboration and are looking for someone who appreciates the structure and dynamic of an in-office role.
Skills Required
Microsoft Office with experience using formulas in excel
Attention to detail is a must with a curious mind
Highly organised
Ability to work effectively with the team
Must be self-driven
Have a drive to always look to improve processes
Ensure all communications are in a professional manner
Ability to recognise confidential information and keep that information private and secure
