Due to a rapid growth, a medium-sized accounting and business advisory services practice located in Indooroopilly is looking for an Administration Assistant/ Receptionist join the team in part time role (25 to 30 hours per week).
Your Roles would cover the following (but are not limited to):
- Reception relief
- Secretarial/ administration support
- Answering and assisting with telephone calls
- Correspondence with clients via email, telephone and in person
- Debtors duties including preparing invoices for clients, processing payments and following up any outstanding payments from clients
- Liaising with the ATO and government authorities.
- General ad-hoc administration support including photocopying, scanning, filing and mail
Skills and Experience
- Receptionist Experience
- Excellent administrative, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (such as Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ideally have knowledge around Tax Accounting
- General bookkeeping experience will be an advantage, including having previously worked in an Accounting firm
- Experience with MYOB, XERO, BGL360 software is advantageous
The successful candidate will demonstrate great enthusiasm and genuine interest in Taxation & Accounting, attention to details, commitment and desire to learn. Good presentation and excellent communication skills together with strong computer literacy are essential.
